I'm not dense to the idea of corrupt governments, but I have to say I've never lived among one. At least none for long and certainly not like this. How did you deal with it?

But he understands the purpose of doing that, too. ... It's just so no none can hurt you anymore. He realizes maybe they're rather similar in that regard.
Normally, Kamui would never extend his sympathies to people that's hard to trust or those he feels is dangerous. But this man did what he can and he'll acknowledge him for that effort. That's the best he can do. ]

This place does get worse every day, but it's particularly ugly to me right now.
